Prerequisites

The following must be installed before installing Superior SQL Builder.

Microsoft® .NET Framework 2.0 If you do not have the Microsoft® .NET Framework installed, or you are unsure, then you will require this download.   Click on the link to go to Microsoft's download page.
NOTE: The Microsoft® .NET Framework is available from a number of sources.  Check with your administrator, who may already have a copy.

Microsoft Data Access Components 2.8 Required by the Database Extensions Module to connect to Databases. 
Click here to download (412kB) and install a Microsoft application that detects the currently installed version of Data Access Components.

Database Servers

Currently, Superior SQL Builder explicitly supports the following database servers:

  • Microsoft SQL Server
  • Microsoft Access 
  • Oracle
  • MySQL

Note that other Database servers may also work with Superior SQL Builder if they support OLE DB or ODBC standards.
